What I Love About...

Tucson
Summer shower
puddles soak torn pavement
I walk.
Falling into faded moonlight
Cloudy curtains draw.
Scatter an ever drifting light,
The pitter patter twinkle of my forgotten starshine.
I used to wish on stars
Reflected in my eyes no more.
Dusk stream in the morning sun,
wasted time fall over me.
Blow away this dripping doubt
Latch on to speeding cars.
Flutter the black and yellow butterflies
my way;
I was born to fly.
